PROBLEM AND PROBLEM SOLVING OF A PRODUCT

PRODUCT : SHAVER

PROBLEM
PROBLEM SOLVING / INVENTION

The blade easily blunt
[The blades easily blunt because of contact between skin, soap, hair and water]

Make the blade replaceable
[It is easier to change the blade when the blade is blunt. However, it is costly because customer has to pay for it]
Coat with anti blunt material
[Coating the blades with anti blunt material is another alternative to the problem. However, the material should be inexpensive]

Hair stuck between the blades
[When shaving, hair sometimes stuck in between the blades. This usually happen when there is two or three set of layers in the shaver]

Insert specific brush to clean the hair
[Brush is placed at the back of a shaver and can be taking out any time to clean the blades]
Hair flow need to be smooth
[Flow of cut hair should be smoother in between the blades. The design of gap in between two or three set of layer should be wide and smooth enough to assist the hair flow]

Corrosion of the blades
[Steel can easily corrode when expose to air and water. Most of the blade are made from this material]

Use stainless steel
[Stainless steel  blade has high water resistance and no corrosion guaranteed]

The handle is too hard
[Cheap shaver is made by cheap material. Most of cheap materials are hard and very unpleasant to use]

Elastic handle
[Make the handle elastic so that suitable to hold it comfortably]

Can cause scratches / bleeding to skin
[Blade can cause bleeding to skin because it is very sharp]

Use the proper edge of the blade
[Edge angle and position in the shaver can avoid this problem]

Easily detached
[Bad designed shaver will make the blade easily detached. Usually when a shaver have small holder and has a separate piece]

Use fixed blade
[Use fixed blade which means the blade and the holder in a one piece]
